“Short Notes for Busy Folks”
Proverbs 27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow,
for you do not know what a day may bring forth.
Regarding Time
(Things to Remember)
Counting on the future is folly. We can speculate about future events only from the past. But, the ultimate outcome is up to the Lord.
The future is a matter of fact; it is coming, but what will it bring?
Christians are now creatures of faith in God. We should
be believers and doers of the “Word of God.”
Trusting Him releases us from the worry of tomorrow;
it’s success or failure. He is faithful and true in all He does.
Could it be that in God’s design for humanity
He limited us enough so we must depend on Him?
God holds the future and trusting in that is great wisdom.
Boasting of the future is characteristic of human nature,
however it is still uncertain and unwritten.
The spiritually minded find peace in leaving the future in
God’s hands. If we take one day at a time, we are doing well!
Using the present wisely is a duty and responsibility.
Time is precious because tomorrow is influenced by today.
God teaches us to serve each day and while doing so, we prepare and invest in a solid and secure future in Him.
“Hope”
Keeper of my days
I place my hope in You
Depending on Your care
Knowing everything You do
Is worthy of all praise
And as I trust You Lord
My future bright and confident
Great things from You in store.
