Never Saw It Coming

Giant Chunks of mountain landslides kill the unexpected, wipes out homes, and causes massive grief.

Data on the causes of these occurrences tells us that over time rain erodes sections and takes away the stability that holds it together.
With no base to hold it firm the mudslide forcefully erupts. This blowout is so unexpected that it catches anyone or anything in its path as its raging power envelopes and overcomes them; others may have to run for their lives. They never saw it coming. Someone who experienced its devastation described this scene as a nightmare.

Records of vulnerable monitored sections show some possibility that may predict the release timing so that people can be warned. Seeking these locations is tedious and personnel limited but when inspected there could be less loss of lives, property, and headache.

The Lord gives us warning of tribulation in the last day before His return. “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it you are not alarmed. Such things must happen… Nation will rise against nation… There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All of these are the beginning of birth pains… Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me”(Matthew 24:6-9, NIV).

“Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold. But he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:1-14, NIV). With todays technology, people in almost all nations can hear the gospel. No one should be able to say they haven’t heard.

God’s Word tells us He is going to rapture His Church, the diligent believers in Christ’s death and those who are faithfully serving Him. “The Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4;16-17, NIV).

The rapture will be a nightmare for unbelievers and those who cursed God and refused to heed His warning. Chaos will reign when the multimillions disappear. Many do not see it coming. They would rather stay blinded than look for evidence. Don’t let it be said-you never saw it coming. Ask God’s help to be ready.
