Nothings Impossible

Faith is a fundamental fact; it is the foundation that makes life worth living. Nothing is impossible with faith. It is a handle to hold onto when the earth shakes and the seas billow around us.

Hebrews 11:1-3 “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the Word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.”

God desires to use us, but it takes faith to move in His will. Faith distinguishes the life of a believer as one of action and supernatural provision; it produces trust that allows God to go beyond our expectations and sees impossible things as possible.

In the story of David and Goliath, the sling and the rock in the hands of a faithful servant (David) brought down a giant. Faith is an inward confidence and a trust that has a deep sense of reliance on God and believing His Word.

“We are saved through faith. Faith is a gift.”

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not the result of works, so that no one may boast.”

“Faith works in us and through us; faith activates kingdom principles and kingdom laws.”

Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.”

Sakrete, a product used in making cement, is dry until it is mixed with water. Water and Sakrete mixed together become stable and solid just as faith and our relationship does with God. This world places demands on the Church that must be responded to with faith; faith must be in Christ.

Faith should be based on who God is and not so much in what He can do for us. He’ll always do those things that are in our best interest; the fruit of faith comes from submission and a peace that rests in The Lord. Rest contains trust and security; trust and security are the framework of relationship and that is the glue that makes faith work so beautifully.
